Testing is carried out to retailer specifications and/or SATRA's own 'Performance Guidelines'.

• A fast 3 day (from receipt of product) service is offered.
• Advice is given on overcoming problems.

2. Fitting

Use SATRA's fitting services:- Fitting trials, size conversion and training to fit the optimum percentage of the target market.

3. In-house quality control

SATRA provides the most extensive range of test equipment for shoes. Laboratory support services include:- Calibration, training and laboratory accreditation.

4. Quality control in your supplies

The 'Sensor' system is used by sourcing companies to ensure temperature/relative humidity are correct in areas such as heat setting. It can also be used in the transport of shoes.

5. Developing new products

SATRA's expertise and facilities are used to develop U.S.Ps (Unique Selling Points) such as:

• Improved comfort - The 'Comfort Index' quantifies comfort.
• Improved water resistance - Using the 'Trough Test', laboratory tests and consulting.
• Safety footwear - If you have problems meeting the EN standards technical requirements, SATRA can help you.
• Reduce risks - Use SATRA as an independent supplier auditor, looking at quality, environmental, health and safety, ethical trading aspects.

Maximise your staff's potential with:

SATRA's training courses (including SAFT - SATRA Accredited Footwear Technologist), videos, CD ROMS and publications. Courses can be held at SATRA or in-house and designed to your requirements.
