Due to an internal promotion, SATRA has a vacancy for an experienced manager to head its Consumer Products Division. The Business Unit primarily provides Testing and Certification for the European Market in, PPE, furniture and floor covering products as well as evaluating cleaning products. (SATRA is a Notified Body for PPE, toys and construction products).
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the European PPE Industry gained from a manufacturing, test and certification or supply chain distribution environment. Experience of reporting at Director level and, leading a multidisciplinary team of technologists and technicians, business planning, budgeting and change management.
SATRA has ambitious plans to increase its share of testing and certification within this division, therefore the Consumer Products Divisional Manager must have a track record of business development and commercial expertise and experience of working within the EU, US and Asia. Extensive travel will be a feature of the job.
