Pattern files can be entered either via a digitising tablet (which can be purchased from SATRA) or a file generated from a CAD system. SATRA supports most commonly available CAD systems.

Yes — the equipment required for leather grading is included in the full SATRASumm package. These are the standard inside quarter, large and small grids, and the leather assessment manual.

We recommend that you take the option of a Feasibility Study. Our consultant will visit your factory and demonstrate how SATRASumm works with your own styles, then cut these styles to prove the allowances.

There are two manuals for each module (Grading/Software/Cutting) included in the price of the system. Extra manuals are available at additional cost, provided you have already undertaken the relevant training.

We supply two large grids, two small grids and two quarters with the system. Extra grids and quarters are available at additional cost.

Yes. The SATRASumm program can be connected to any number of different SATRASumm databases. To switch between databases, the user must exit the system and choose a different database before running the software again.

A material allowance is the amount of material required to cut the stated amount of shoes or other products.

Yes. If you have purchased the optional Cutting Times module, SATRASumm will use calculations from its sister system, SATRAData, to tell you how much time a job should take.

Yes, you will need to elect someone to be your system supervisor. This person will be able to create user accounts, set rights and reset passwords if your users forget them.

SATRASumm can be scaled to allow as many simultaneous users as you need. You choose this, based on your requirements and budget, prior to installation. If you require more users in the future then this can be arranged at additional cost.
