Synthetic Layplans

The greatest innovation in version 7 is the synthetic layplanning module. This allows the calculation of completely accurate synthetic allowances. It also provides detailed printouts for the cutter to follow, enabling you to meet these allowances.

Pattern Assessment Module

There is now a brand new pattern assessment module for knives which are used on leather materials. It improves both the speed and accuracy of SATRASumm’s leather assessing.

Group Locking shown in the status bar

The new status bar on the ‘All’ windows informs you of any items you have locked when grouping. This is a very useful function in multi-user environments.

Settings update

The cut gap setting has been moved from the knife to the material, ensuring that all knives cut from the same material have the same cut gap.

New sorting options

New sort orders are available on ‘All’ and ‘Browse’ windows.

Simplified data transfer

A new copy option on all ‘Allowance’ windows means results can be copied to the clipboard for pasting elsewhere.

Interface options

SATRASumm 7 has a fresh look with optional system colour and new icons sets.

Knife sets

A redesigned knife screen introduces the new concept of knife sets which are required for synthetic layplanning. One knife code can now have multiple knife sizes.

SATRASumm 7 also includes:

• New support for USB digitisers
• Much faster ‘All Allowances’ calculations
• Auto-edit feature when new items are created
• Extended 28 day warning period to give a plenty of notice of license expiry
• Compatibility with newer versions of Advantage Database Server.
