SATRA is holding a special seminar on the Construction Products Directive (CPD) at the Kettering Technology Centre in November. Topics under discussion will include how EU directives are written, CE marking and plans for adoption of the CPD as a European regulation.
The programme will also include a consideration of the products covered by the CPD, routes for certification and the involvement of Notified Bodies for testing and certification purposes. Practical implementation of the CPD will be explored by a case study involving a floorcovering material, and delegates will also be able to take a tour of SATRA’s testing facilities. Lunch and refreshments will be included.
