CE marking of personal protective equipment (PPE) has been a mandatory requirement in the EU for over 30 years. This webinar outlines the ongoing conformity assessment procedures that apply to products protecting against the highest risk levels – referred to as Category III PPE.
For these, in addition to an initial type-examination of the model, ongoing production must be subject to regular annual checks by a Notified Body, such as SATRA, to ensure that it is fully compliant and homogenous with the initial type-examined sample.
In this webinar, team leader Adrian Sipak will cover the requirements of modules C2 and D as described in Annex VII and VIII of the Regulation respectively. At the end he will be joined by Geoff Graham, our certification business manager, in a question-and-answer session.
